    LOL  Yes, I have always been an amateur "Engineer".  Like to know how things work...or why they stop working. Sometimes I get lucky and can find the problem and fix it. Other times...such as was the case with this device....it just turns into a "Learning experience".  I honestly liked the toy the few times I got to use it...but in my case...the quality of the inner sleeve was just not there ( When I was inspecting the sleeve...I put an led light inside of it...and noticed that there were several "thick and thin" spots in the sleeve. Leaving me to believe that even if I had been able to come up with a way to repair and seal off that particular leak....it would just be a matter of time before another would show up somewhere else.)   Anyway, I recently purchased a toy on Amazon that is called "Obsidian" by SOHIMI ( Norwegian company)that is similar in function to the Max..but appears to be better designed. VERY impressed with it so far. If you haven't done a review on it...you should. It works great and was very reasonably priced ( just under $60.00 USD)

    LOL  Yes, I have been an amateur "engineer" all of my life. I like to know how things work...or why they aren't working. Sometimes I get lucky and find the problem and figure out a way to fix it. sometimes it just turns into a "learning experience".

    Oh wow, you really did go full-on engineer! That's quite impressive! I'm so sorry the toy was beyond saving! Mine still works fine after quite a few uses, but I'm guessing it comes down to the sleeve giving up eventually 😥

    I had a similar experience with mine.  Worked great for few times...then hardly any suction at all. Tried to contact the after sales service but could not get any kind of response from them. So...being the mechanically inquisitive fellow that I am...I got out my tool kit and disassembled it to see if I could find an "easy fix". Figured it wasn't working anyway...and appeared to be a total waste of money. what have I got to lose?    What I found was that there was a manufacturing defect in the silicone sleeve,,,,in the pocket where the vibrator egg fits. this was allowing the "Water based lubricant" to leak into the suction chamber and ultimately end up in the area with the controlling electronics!  ( Suction chamber vents into the electronics chamber...BAD engineering design flaw!) I had been noticing that the button controls were acting up periodically...often making it difficult to change settings or difficult to turn the device on and off. Also noticed that my hands would become wet while handling the device. I tried to use a silicone adhesive to seal the hole in the vibrator sleeve and did everything I could to dry out the electronics. But after approximately two hours of repair time....it only bought me about 15 minutes of additional use time before it totally quit working...so off to the rubbish bin it went!

    hey, yeah, I'm alechardyxxx on gmail too :smile: So I played around a bit with it, and if the motor seems to be working, the only thing that could prevent the suction is if the sleeve is not sealing to the edge of the case perfectly and the air could get in at the side of the sleeve or somewhere. If you remove the sleeve and put a foil, like a cling wrap over the big hole on the case where the sleeve should be, does it suck it in strongly? If yes then the sleeve doesn't form a good enough seal. IF not, then the motor got weaker somehow.

    Hey Alec, thanks v much for your reply. Yes, I bought it from the Maxfun site. The motor does still work and when I shine a torch inside I can see the nodules contracting but when my penis is inserted there is hardly any suction effect now. When I first used it, the cup worked exactly like your demonstration video. The vibrator is fine. Unfortunately I scrapped the box, but still have the little user manual. It talks about After Sales Service and 180 days replacement for any dissatisfaction, but there are no details given about who to contact. I don’t know how it works or how the suction effect is created. Is there any other way to write to you, than on this site? There doesn’t seem to be any Contact Us link on your own website.

    Hey, oh that's not good, so sorry to hear that! So the motor doesn't even make any noise when you try to turn on suction? Have you bought it from the maxfun site? They say this on the site: "After 14 days, a defective product within the Maxfun collection may be covered by our 1 year Limited Warranty. Please review our Limited Warranty, along with instructions for making a warranty claim." I tried looking for the box to check it for you but can't find it :pensive:
